Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

We are seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our team in Freehold, Cherry Hill, Toms River, Middle Sex, Monmouth Junction, and Fair Lawn, NJ.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with clients
- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of counseling

Skills:
- Proficient in conducting research related to mental health and counseling
- Knowledge of coding and billing procedures for insurance reimbursement
- Experience in child and family counseling, with a focus on pediatrics
- Specialization in gender issues counseling, including LGBTQ+ issues
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and interventions
- Understanding of behavioral health disorders and treatment options
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong crisis intervention skills
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
