Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)

We are seeking Licensed Associate Counselor's to join our team in Freehold, Cherry Hill, Middle Sex, Fair Lawn, Monmouth Junction, and Toms River, NJ.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct child and family counseling sessions to address behavioral health issues
- Provide crisis management and intervention services for children and families in need
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and social skills development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients
- Utilize evidence-based psychotherapy techniques to address a range of mental health concerns
- Provide case management services, including coordinating referrals and accessing community resources
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Offer counseling and support for individuals dealing with gender-related issues

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Familiarity with case management practices and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and adherence to ethical guidelines

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in providing counseling services specifically for children and families
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care approaches
