Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR R.N.)

Location: Englewood, CO

Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour day shifts

Salary: $33.60-$50.40 per hour plus $15,000 sign-on bonus

Job Description:

Englewood Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR R.N.) to join our team. As an OR R.N., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services. Your responsibilities will include:

~Preparing for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment is available in assigned areas.

~Assisting with post-procedure workload, including cleaning the room between procedures, putting away all unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.

~Teaching, supervising, and serving as a resource person, delegating tasks according to the competency level of all staff members.

~Rotating to areas other than OR as needed and performing duties that match your demonstrated competencies.

Qualifications:

~Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or a current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.

~Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

~Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).

~Minimum of one (1) year experience in the perioperative (OR) setting.

~ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

~Knowledge of EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
