DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon

Shift: 8-hour day shifts

Salary: $50-$72 hourly (depending on experience) + $10,000 sign-on bonus

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital team in Coos Bay, Oregon. The Clinical Pharmacist will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to our inpatient and outpatient populations. This position requires a commitment to ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication therapy for all patients.

Key Responsibilities:

~Provide a broad range of pharmaceutical care services to inpatients and outpatients.

~Support centralized and decentralized services within the department.

~Collaborate with multidisciplinary care providers to monitor, assess, and intervene clinically to optimize medication therapy.

~Ensure medication use aligns with patient care needs, evidence-based practices, policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

~Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree preferred, or a B.S. Pharm degree.

~Current Oregon Pharmacist license required.

~American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

~American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).

~Minimum of 3 years of hospital or relevant experience preferred.
