Location: Englewood, CO

Shifts Available:

Weekend Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 17:30 - 06:00

Nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 18:00 - 06:30

Evenings: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 11:00 - 23:30

Salary: $32.94 to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Scan Technologist to join our team in Englewood, CO. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our radiology department by accurately interpreting physician scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, operating CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture the necessary images.

 

Key Responsibilities:

~Accurately interpret physician’s scanning instructions.

~Administer contrast materials as needed.

~Prepare and operate CT scan equipment.

~Position patients to capture appropriate images.

~Use computed tomography equipment to take images from different angles.

~Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions.

~Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors.

~Communicate effectively and work independently in performing all CT procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood.

~Maintain solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.

 

Requirements:

~ARRT(RT)(CT) Certification: Required and must be in compliance with continuing education (CE).

~BLS Certification: Current BLS certification required, preferably through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

~Education: Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

~Experience: Minimum of 1-year diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.
