Job Title: Caring Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.) with M.A.A. License
Location: Longmont, Colorado
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Shifts: Day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Flexible Schedule
Salary: Up to $25 per hour (depending on experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and certified Medication Aide with an M.A.A. License (Medication Administration Authority) to join our skilled care team in providing exceptional care in a home-like environment in Longmont, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to work in a laid-back setting where you can build meaningful relationships with residents. This is not a Q-Map position. Must have an M.A.A. license with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
Responsibilities:
~Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
~Assist residents with activities of daily living.
~Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
~Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care.
~Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure residents' well-being.
~Record the quantity of dosage and time of medication use
~Collect samples for laboratory analysis
~Administer both non-prescription and prescription medication to patients
~Collaborate with the nursing team to handle patient medication and care
~Ensure the dispensary is well-stocked with adequate drug supplies
~Advise and educate patients to ensure they comply with instructions on proper medication use
~Alert supervisors to any adverse changes in patients due to medication
~Follow all health regulations to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Requirements:
~Current Colorado M.A.A. License.
~Current TB test.
~Current BLS or CPR certification.
~COVID vaccination or exemption (helpful, but not required).
~Compassionate and caring individual.
~Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
