Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Location: Robbinsdale, MN

Position Type: Full-time

Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Hourly Rate: $20 - $26

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at in Robbinsdale, MN. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication with patients, efficient clinic operations, and excellent patient care. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including telephone support, prescription refills, phlebotomy, x-ray duties (if certified), laboratory tests, front desk/check-in support, supply management, and prior authorizations. We offer a competitive salary range of $20 - $26 per hour, with potential for growth, and an array of benefits which will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

~Provide telephone support, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.

~Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange.

~Assist with prescription refills, maintaining accurate records and adhering to established protocols.

~Perform x-ray duties as assigned, provided the individual has passed the x-ray operator exam.

~Conduct phlebotomy procedures efficiently and safely, ensuring patient comfort and specimen integrity.

~Perform clinic laboratory tests with precision and attention to detail.

~Offer front desk/check-in support, greeting patients warmly and managing administrative tasks.

~Responsible for ordering and stocking supplies to maintain clinic functionality.

~Assist with prior authorizations for procedures and medications as needed.

Requirements:

~High school graduate or equivalent.

~Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification.

~Previous experience in a clinical setting is required.

~Willingness to take the x-ray operator exam if not already certified.

~Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

~LPN candidates will be considered for this position with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $23.75 to $33.
