Interventional Radiology (IR) RN – High-Acuity Role

We're seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, independent nurse who thrives under pressure.

Compensation:

• $50/hour
• $1,000 weekly stipend (travelers)

About the Role:
Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) is an innovative branch of medicine where physicians treat diseases non-operatively using small catheters guided by fluoroscopic and other imaging techniques. Many minimally invasive procedures performed in VIR have replaced traditional surgery.

Procedures & Experience Includes:

• Angiogram of multiple systems
• Peripheral revascularization
• Placement & maintenance of hemodialysis catheters
• Nephrostomy drainage tubes
• Placement & maintenance of gastrostomy & jejunostomy tubes
• Central line placement
• Vascular access (including port placement & integrity)
• Pain management interventions
• Paracentesis / Thoracentesis
• Pre- and post-care for renal, liver, and lung biopsies
• Carotid stenting

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of current Interventional Radiology (IR) RN experience (required)
• Cardiac Cath Lab & Electrophysiology experience (required)
• Defibrillation certification (required)
• Strong IV skills (required)
• CCU (Critical Care Unit) experience (required)
• Meditech Expanse experience (highly preferred)
