Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Onsite | Thornton, CO
Start Date: July 2026 | Duration: 2026–2027 School Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM – 2:50 PM (30-minute meal break)
Pay Rate: $62/hour
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a PreK–8 school in Thornton, Colorado for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite role offers a consistent schedule, collaborative environment, and the opportunity to support a diverse student population.
Position Overview:
Caseload: Approximately 37 students
12 Moderate/Severe
25 Mild/Moderate
Setting: PreK–8 School
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Special Services Provider License with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement required
Preferred: Endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education
Or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students across PreK–8 grade levels
Adapt instruction to meet the needs of special education, at-risk, and culturally and linguistically diverse students
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and support teams to promote inclusion
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including cooperative learning and interdisciplinary thematic instruction
Design and deliver instruction aligned with standards-based practices and assessments
