Pay Rate: $52/hour
Schedule: Nights, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: Guaranteed 32 hours per week
Shift Length: 8 hours
Experience Required: 3+ years of psychiatric nursing experience
Contract: 13 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital team in Methuen, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled psychiatric nurse looking for a consistent overnight schedule and guaranteed weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric nursing care.
• Assess patients and monitor mental and behavioral health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and behavior.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Respond appropriately to psychiatric and behavioral emergencies.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable and professional.
