OR Registered Nurse (RN) – Spine

Position: Operating Room RN – Spine
Location: Illinois
Pay Rate: $60/hour
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Education: BSN required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with strong spine surgery experience to join our surgical team in Illinois. This position is ideal for an experienced OR nurse who is confident working in a fast-paced surgical environment and has extensive spine experience.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
• Spine experience required
• Spine experience must be rated 4/4 — highly proficient/advanced experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced OR environment

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Assist with spine procedures and other OR cases as assigned.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure surgical safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain compliance with facility policies.
