LPN/LVN Correctional

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Correctional Facility

Location: Illinois
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
Shifts Available: Evening and Night Shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing

• Current LPN/LVN license in the State of Illinois or ability to obtain licensure at least two weeks prior to start date

• Current CPR certification

• Proof of successful completion of Pharmacology/Medication Administration coursework as required by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

  • Documentation must be provided at the time of interview

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of recent, full-time, paid clinical experience in:

  • An acute care healthcare facility or

  • An ambulatory care facility

Position Overview

The LPN/LVN will provide nursing care in a correctional setting, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting overall health services in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
