Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Elementary Schools | Thornton, CO
$45/hour | Full-Time | Remainder of School Year

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary school students in Thornton, CO (Denver Metro Area). This is a full-time, onsite position working across multiple school locations within a supportive and collaborative team for the remainder of the current school year.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• School Setting: Elementary
• Coverage:
  • 3 schools (1 day per week each)
  • 1 school (2 days per week)

Compensation:

• $45 per hour
• Consistent weekly schedule
• School holidays off

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OTR
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Implement treatment plans and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Adapt activities to meet individual student needs

Qualifications:

• Active COTA license in the state of Colorado
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between assigned school sites
