Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Onsite | Thornton, CO
Start Date: July 2026 | Duration: 2026–2027 School Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:35 AM – 3:50 PM (30-minute meal break)
Pay Rate: $68/hour
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual (English/Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school in Thornton, Colorado for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite position offers a manageable caseload and the opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
Caseload: 37 students
12 Moderate/Severe
25 Mild/Moderate
Setting: Elementary School
Requirement: Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Special Services Provider License with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement required
Preferred: Endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education
Or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to an elementary caseload
Adapt instruction to meet the needs of special education, at-risk, and culturally and linguistically diverse students
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and support teams to support inclusion
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including cooperative learning and interdisciplinary thematic instruction
Design and deliver instruction aligned with standards-based practices and assessments
