 Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) OR

 

Location: Medical Center, Englewood, CO

 

Shift: Variable 10hr shifts Day and Night

 

Pay: $26/hr. - $39/hr. with a $10,000 sign-on bonus

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team at the Medical Center in Englewood, CO. As a CST, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of surgical procedures by assisting surgeons and maintaining a sterile environment.

 

Responsibilities:

~Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by anticipating their needs.

~Prepare and organize the operating room prior to surgery.

~Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.

~Maintain a sterile field to prevent infection.

~Adhere to infection prevention and regulatory sterilization standards.

~Apply knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques.

~Utilize understanding of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and related tools and technologies.

~Communicate effectively with the surgical and central sterile processing team members.

 

Qualifications:

~Successful completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited surgical technologist program, or another nationally accredited program.

~Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) registered as ST by DORA

~Basic Life Support (BLS) certification AHA or ARC

~Minimum 1yr experience

~Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

~Strong relational skills to effectively interact with team members.
