Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, compassion for clients of all ages, and the ability to create and implement effective individualized therapy plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs/IFSPs/therapy plans) based on assessments.

  • Provide direct therapy services to children or adults in individual or group settings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, physicians, families, and other professionals to support client progress.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports.

  • Educate patients and families on strategies for communication improvement and carryover at home.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP/504 Plan development as required.

  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and current research in speech-language pathology.

  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards.


Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA OR eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF).

  • Knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention techniques.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a [school / medical / rehabilitation / early intervention] setting.

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

  • Familiarity with assistive technology and AAC devices.

  • Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery.
