School Psychologist

School Psychologist – .5 FTE (Middle School)
Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $67.00 per hour
Schedule: .5 FTE / 20 hours per week

• 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Thursday (no Fridays)

• OR 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM, daily

• OR 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, daily

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support a middle school in Portland on a part-time (.5 FTE) basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about student well-being, collaborative in nature, and experienced in supporting students with varying needs.

Education & Licensing Requirements:

• Must be licensed by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC)

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field (psychology, counseling, social work, recreational therapy, art therapy, music therapy, etc.)

• Must hold or be eligible for an Oregon license in one of the following:

  • Psychology or School Psychology

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker

  • Counselor or School Counselor

Preferred Experience:
Two (2) or more years of experience working directly with students at high risk, including:

• Students at risk of dropping out

• Students involved in Drug & Alcohol treatment

• Students receiving therapeutic intervention (individual, group, or family)

• Support for teenage pregnancy or teen parents
