School Nurse (RN)

School Nurse (RN) – September Contract
Location: Florence, NJ & Surrounding Areas
Pay Rate: $43/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:20 AM – 2:20 PM
Grade Levels: K–12

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to serve as a School Nurse for the month of September. You'll work with K–12 students, providing health support, administering medications, and ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey RN license

• Current BLS certification

• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills

• Ability to respond to medical emergencies calmly and effectively

• Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent health concerns

• Medication administration and documentation accuracy

• Clear and compassionate communication with students, parents, and staff

• Understanding of immunization requirements and health screenings

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

• Organizational skills for managing daily health office operations

• Adaptability to work with K–12 students across various settings

• Basic computer skills for electronic health records and reporting
