Schedule: Full-Time | 35 hours per week
Duty Day: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
Grade Level: Elementary (6 schools total)
We are seeking a full-time School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to support elementary students across multiple school sites following a recent resignation. The Physical Therapist will provide services in accordance with students' IEPs, collaborate with school teams, and support students' functional mobility and access to the educational environment.
The caseload is clustered, with coverage of two schools per day, allowing for efficient scheduling and continuity of care.
Provide direct physical therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
Deliver services through individual, small-group, push-in, and pull-out models as appropriate
Conduct student observations, assessments, and progress monitoring
Document services, progress notes, and IEP updates in compliance with district and state requirements
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and parent communication as needed
Support student mobility, access, and participation in the school environment
Duty Day: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
Schools: 6 elementary schools total
Coverage Model: 2 schools per day (clustered scheduling)
Billable Hours: 35 hours per week
Travel: Travel time between assigned schools counts as billable hours but no mileage reimbursement
Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland
Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Familiarity with IEPs and school-based service delivery models
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
This is a full-time position serving elementary students
