- Inpatient Responsibilities: Rounding on post-op patients, inpatient/ED consults, OR
- Job Responsibilities: Clinical, Surgical, Trauma/Orthopedic Call
- Trauma Level: 3
- Number of Physicians: 4
- Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 7
- Supervision of APP expected: Yes
- Physician Nurse Ratio: 1 nurse/provider, 3 cast techs/7 providers
- Ancillary Staff per Provider: 3 Reception/7 providers, 2 Surgery Schedulers/7 providers
- Number of Exam Rooms per Provider: 2 exam rooms and 3 cast rooms
- Medical Imaging: Yes
- Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
- Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: Mainly consults, current avg hospital daily census 160 pts/day
- Appointment Length: 10-30 depending on new consult, recheck, post-op, or procedure
- Demographics: Hub Hospital, Serve 16 surrounding counties, Population 200,000
- EMR: The clinic's EMR is Client Centricity. The hospital's EMR is Epic. (The clinic won't be switching over to Epic until December)
- Teaching Opportunity: IM and FM residency; PA student rotation
- Services offered in the practice: Providers are required to be able to perform these services. Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement. Hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot surgical procedures. Trauma injuries, fracture care, sports medicine, and other disorders.
