Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and compliance management to ensure accurate results and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various laboratory tests, including immunoassays and other assays, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
• Perform blood sampling and manage specimens according to established protocols.
• Collect data meticulously for analysis and maintain comprehensive records in laboratory information management systems.
• Participate in quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes to uphold the integrity of laboratory operations.
• Assist in clinical trials by providing necessary laboratory support and data collection.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards within the laboratory environment.

Experience

• A degree in Medical Technology or a related field is required.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred, with familiarity in blood sampling techniques and immunoassays being advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
• Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and compliance management is essential for maintaining high standards within the lab.
