Clinical Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Clinical Laboratory Scientist Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and analyses to provide accurate diagnostic information. This role requires a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the laboratory environment.

Duties

• Supervise Team
• Must be familiar with Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry and QA
• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, including RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and ELISA assays.
• Analyze test results and ensure accuracy through meticulous data management practices.
• Collaborate with research teams on clinical trials and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Document findings and prepare reports for review by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality control measures to uphold laboratory standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in clinical laboratory science and implement new techniques as appropriate.

Skills

• Experience in a CAP/TJC/CLIA accredited clinical laboratory
• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to understand the implications of test results.
• Proficiency in data management systems for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Experience working in a research laboratory setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with clinical trials processes and requirements.
• Ability to perform complex laboratory procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
