Job Description:
- Candidates can be BE or BC, but BC is HIGHLY PREFERRED based on the complexity of the practice and the first physician will be onsite alone a majority of the time (until a second provider is hired).
- Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, (very few) hospital rounds
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) On call
- Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)
- Practice is in a phase of rebuilding
- Desired start date: ASAP
- Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-25
- Facility's Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 2
- State-of-the-art Cancer Center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984
- On-site Radiation Oncology department

- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology - REQUIRED (Board Certified is highly preferred)
- SC License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice & License History - REQUIRED
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) REQUIRED * no exemptions
- CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) REQUIRED * no exemptions
