Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. Duties

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on mental health, addiction recovery, and family dynamics.
• Utilize evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and behavior management techniques.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Stay informed about developments in social work, addiction medicine, and mental health counseling through ongoing research and professional development.
• Facilitate workshops or support groups as needed to promote community engagement and education.

Qualifications

• A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in child family counseling is a plus.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to interpret medical records effectively.
• Strong skills in behavior management and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Knowledge of addiction medicine principles is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in counseling practices.
